Yering Station holds a unique place in Australian wine as Victoria's first vineyard, established in 1838 in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Now part of the family-owned Rathbone Wine Group, it pairs deep history with a modern destination experience.
Chief winemaker Brendan Hawker leads a cool-climate range of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, plus single-vineyard releases and an estate gin. A visit takes in the historic cellar door, a celebrated restaurant overlooking the Yarra Ranges, and a garden bar and terrace.
Open: daily 10am to 5pm, with walk-in tastings for groups under 10. Dining: the signature restaurant with reservations essential, plus a garden bar and terrace. Named among The Real Review's Top Wineries of 2026.
