Rosa Glen Farm is a biodynamic small-batch producer tucked into a 33-hectare property southeast of Margaret River, on land first cleared in the 1930s. The vineyard — planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (dating to 1978), Merlot, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc — has been farmed without chemical sprays or synthetic fertilisers since the current owners took over, treating the farm as a single living system guided by seasonal cycles. A standout addition: in late 2023 part of the old Cabernet block was grafted to Gamay, now made in a Beaujolais-inspired style as their "Henry Lee" — fermented on skins for 10 days and aged in old oak and stainless steel. Wines are artisanal, minimal-intervention, and made to reflect seasonal conditions.
The farm is operated biodynamically — no chemical sprays or synthetic fertilisers are used and the land is managed as a single living ecosystem — but no formal third-party certification (such as ACO or Demeter) is currently stated on their website.
Their range includes Gamay ("Henry Lee", made in Beaujolais style), Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Wines are made in small batches with minimal intervention to express the cooler Margaret River sub-region.
The farm is at 115 Bridgelands Road, Rosa Glen WA 6285 — southeast of Margaret River township, near Upper Chapman Brook in the southern Margaret River region.
Rosa Glen Farm hosts on-farm events including wine-and-music evenings at their Soif Bar-A-Van. Contact them directly via hello@rosaglenfarm.com.au or +61 448 991 742 to check current availability.
