Morning Sun Vineyard is a certified biodynamic winery, olive grove and cellar door nestled in the hills of Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula, 85 km south of Melbourne. The 42-acre property was once an apple orchard and is steeped in Italian family heritage — founded by the late Mario Toniolo after 50 years as a concreter who fell in love with the land at age 70. The estate grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Rosé, Sparkling and fortified wines, with a cellar door and Italian-inspired shared-plate lunch open Thursday to Sunday, 11 am–5 pm.
