Kies Family Wines is a family-owned winery in the southern Barossa Valley at Lyndoch, established in 1985. What began as a small tasting room has grown into a full estate, pairing a modern winemaking facility with a cellar door that's become one of the region's most popular stops. It was named the Barossa Valley's #1 attraction on Tripadvisor in 2025.
The wines span Dry Riesling, Sparkling Rosé, lighter-style and full Barossa reds, and sweet and fortified styles, with the Klauber Block Shiraz a signature. It's also a destination in its own right, with the Monkey Nut Café for gourmet pies and platters and Kies Teas offering more than 20 blends.
On site: cellar door, the Monkey Nut Café and Kies Teas. Events: the Marquee at Kies, a Mother's Day Picnic and seasonal experiences. A Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence winner (2024) and a consistent Barossa favourite.
