Delatite Winery is a family-owned estate at the foot of Mt Buller in Mansfield, Victoria's High Country, with roots in farming the land stretching back over 170 years. Founded as a winery in 1968 by Robert and Vivienne Ritchie and now run by their son David, Delatite has evolved into a highly regarded small-batch producer of biodynamic cool-climate wines — wild-yeast fermented, minimally filtered, and made with organic and partial biodynamic viticulture. The estate produces an impressive range of whites (Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier) and reds (Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Malbec, Cabernet, Tempranillo and others), with Riesling standing out as the signature variety. In 2021 the family opened a striking new solar-powered cellar door and dining room with spectacular mountain views, cementing Delatite's place as a genuine High Country wine destination.
